| Coalition comes from the Latin word Coalesce,
which means 1. To grow together: FUSE 2. To come together
so as to form one whole: UNITE. A “Coalition” is a temporary
alliance of factions, parties, or nations; a combination
into one body; a diverse group that combines their resources
to create change.
Sarasota Coalition on Substance Abuse, Inc. (SCoSA) is
a non-profit organization that advocates for substance abuse
prevention, intervention, treatment and recovery in Sarasota
County through collaborative efforts.
SCoSA is committed to help people reclaim their lives from substance abuse through increased community awareness and advocacy. |
